Transportation Research Syntheses

TRS Cover Image

A Transportation Research Synthesis (TRS) is a short-turnaround research report that addresses a specific research topic. TRSs include summaries of completed and in-progress research, or reports about the state of the practice among departments of transportation (DOTs). A TRS goes beyond the scope of literature searches; it can include interviews or surveys, and the resources found are clearly organized and summarized — with contact names, web links and other specifications.

To learn more about our TRS program can help you, download our TRS program flyer or contact Leif Halverson at leif.halverson@state.mn.us or 651-366-3786.

Locate a TRS by searching the Project Pages application, and make sure to use "TRS" in the search. You can also use our custom Google search to find publications.
