Standards
Minnesota state law and the state Digital Accessibility Standard requires all government agencies meet WCAG 2.1 at the AA level for digital content.
- Content should be written in plain language to better meet the needs of visitors.
- Agency websites should incorporate enhanced search to make it easier for users to quickly find the information they need.
- Agency websites should be mobile-friendly, ensuring that content displays just as well on smart phones and tablets as it does on web browsers.
