MnPAVE Logo MnPAVE - Mechanistic-Empirical Flexible Pavement Design

MnPAVE is a software program developed cooperatively by the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the University of Minnesota. It consists of three input modules: Climate, Structure, and Traffic; and three design levels: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced. It was calibrated using performance data collected in 2006 on county state aid highways (CSAH) in Minnesota.

FWD Race Car LogoFWD to Excel Converter (executable 500 KB)

Extract deflection data from Access (MDB) database and save as an Excel workbook that can be imported into the FWD Data Analysis program.

PaveCool LogoPaveCool - Asphalt Pavement Cooling Tool

PaveCool is a software program developed cooperatively by the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the University of Minnesota. It estimates the time available for compaction of hot-mix asphalt (HMA) during adverse weather conditions.

Subgrade Atlas LogoMinnesota Subgrade Atlas (executable 1.3 MB)

The Minnesota Subgrade Atlas is a computer program developed at the University of Minnesota. It allows for the detailed analysis of the subgrade modulus along state roads and highways.
