Road closures
Through December
- Westbound Wayzata Blvd. is closed between Louisiana Ave. and Zarthan Ave.
Lane closures
7 a.m. Wed, Aug. 13 through June 2026
- Northbound Louisiana Ave. is reduced to one lane between Wayzata Blvd. and the I-394 off-ramp
7 a.m. Wed, Aug. 13 through June 2026
- Southbound Louisiana Ave. is reduced to one lane between Market St. and Wayzata Blvd.
Through mid-November
- The exit/entrance lane on eastbound I-394 between General Mills Blvd. and Louisiana Ave. is closed
Ramp closures

- The eastbound I-394 ramp to Louisiana Ave. is closed
Through June 2026
- The ramp from Louisiana Ave. to eastbound I-394 is closed
- The ramp from eastbound I-394 to Park Place Blvd. is closed

About this project
We are working at the I-394/Louisiana Ave. interchange to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow on eastbound I-394.
Summary of work
- Extend the acceleration/deceleration lane on eastbound I-394 from the Louisiana Ave. exit ramp to the on ramp from Louisiana Ave.
- Add a new acceleration/deceleration lane on eastbound I-394 between Louisiana Ave. to Xenia Ave. S./Park Place Blvd.
- Remove free right turn lanes from northbound Louisiana Ave. to eastbound I-394 and southbound Louisiana Ave. to westbound I-394
- Replace the signal systems on the north and south sides near the ramps to/from I-394 and Louisiana Ave.
- Realign the retaining wall along the ramp from Louisiana Ave. to eastbound I-394
- Replace sidewalk along the ramp from eastbound I-394 and Louisiana Ave. and add accessible curb ramps for pedestrians at the interchange
