History & significance
Bridge 95154 is a single-span, precast concrete arch bridge constructed in 1982 under the proprietary BEBO patent. It carries Trunk Highway 25 over the Luce Line State Trail in Watertown, Carver County. The BEBO design was developed by Swiss civil engineer Werner Heierli in the 1960s. The patented parabolic design involved complex engineering and included precasting of headwalls, wingwalls, the arch, and arch base. Bridge 95154 is significant as an early example of a BEBO patent precast arch bridge constructed in Minnesota.
