Bridge 27611, the Plymouth Avenue Bridge, is a five-span, post-tensioned-concrete, box-girder bridge constructed in 1983 that carries Plymouth Avenue North over the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, Hennepin County. Bridge 27611 was the first post-tensioned segmental concrete box-girder bridge built in Minnesota and served as a prototype for subsequent bridges using the same engineering design. It is significant for its unique design and engineering as an early example of a new bridge type in the state.
