Bridge 27003, or the Irene Hixon Whitney Bridge, connects the Walker Art Center Sculpture Garden and Loring Park, carrying a pedestrian path over Lyndale Avenue, Hennepin Avenue, and Interstate Highway 94 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County. The bridge is a truss displaying highly artistic elements such as decorative suspension and arch elements, in contrasting attractive colors. The bridge was designed by Siah Armajani, a master architect and artist, and it is one of his best works from his most productive period.
