On Monday, Oct. 3, Highway 61 traffic will be shifted onto the newly constructed Silver Creek Bridge and temporary bypass. The intersection of Loop Road and Highway 61 will also reopen on Oct. 3. During the switch, traffic will be reduced to a single lane under flaggers. Grading work will continue at Silver Creek through late October with no traffic impacts expected.
Construction at Stewart River for the season. Traffic will be directed to the newly constructed bridge and will remain in a head-to-head pattern through Fall 2023. The Kelsey Beach parking lot will be closed during construction.
There will be no bike or pedestrian access through the construction zone.
