Investment in Project Management
Recognizing the important role of project management in delivering transportation-related projects, MnDOT conducted a peer review in the area of project management during fall 2009. The peer review brought together a panel of representatives from departments of transportation, engineering consultants, and the Federal Highway Administration to learn more about project management at MnDOT, share best practices and offer recommendations for improvement. MnDOT reviewed peer review findings and recommendations, as well as identified steps for improvements, in 2010. The following information offers additional details about the peer review.
