Applications for oversize and overweight permits by phone:
- As of Nov. 1, 2009, Mn/DOT no longer takes applications for oversize and overweight permits by phone. You can continue to apply for permits online, by fax, mail, e-mail or through an independent permit service. See oversize/overweight permits Web site for more information.
New Intrastate USDOT Number Requirement: As of Aug. 1, 2011, there will be a new requirement for intrastate carriers to display their USDOT number. Assigned USDOT numbers MUST be displayed as required by MN Statute 221.031, subd. 6.
