Project Overview
MnDOT is conducting a transportation study that reflects the current and future transportation needs on Highway 60 through Lake Crystal. With input from the city of Lake Crystal, local residents and businesses, and other project stakeholders, MnDOT will evaluate the corridor, develop design alternatives, and arrive at a preliminary layout for a future Highway 60 roadway project.
Project goals
- Create a vision for the Highway 60 Lake Crystal corridor and future roadway project that will support economic development, safely accommodate all modes of transportation, and encourage pedestrian and bicyclist usage.
- Ensure that the community's concerns and aspirations are reflected in the alternatives developed as a part of this transportation study.
