During construction
Construction began April 27. What to expect through October:
- Beginning July 22, weather permitting, Western Avenue will close temporarily to allow for installation of pipe across the roadway. One side will close at a time, for up to three days. Please follow the detour.
Western Avenue closure and detour map - The interchange ramps are closed to all travelers. I-94 traffic to/from Highway 210 in Fergus Falls use detour on County Road 1/Tower Road.
- Head-to-head traffic and reduced speeds on I-94 near the interchange.
- Highway 210 is open for east/west travelers during construction. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction on the south bridge.
- Please obey all traffic control and travel with care through the work zone. Never enter an area blocked by barriers or cones.
