Motorists can expect lane closures on northbound and southbound Highway 61 at the Talmadge River just south of McQuade Road for culvert work starting on July 7.
Construction of a J-Turn (also known as an R-CUT) at Highway 61 and McQuade Road is underway. There is a detour of the inland side of McQuade Road to Lismore Road to Ryan Road.

This project involves constructing a reduced conflict intersection at the Hwy 61 and McQuade Road intersection, repair of the Talmadge River culvert wall and the installation of a Roadway Weather Information System.
