Maintain your operator permit
To maintain your Limousine Operator Permit, you are required to comply with several state (Minnesota Rules, chapter 8880) and federal laws. Limousine operators must renew their service permit each year to maintain operating authority. To avoid cancellation of your operating authority, you must:
- Maintain current insurance.
- Keep records as required per Minnesota Rule 8880.1000.
- Complete the annual Limousine Service Permit Renewal Packet (PDF).
- Complete the Business Information Change Form within 10 days of any change to your business email, address, phone, name of person responsible for daily operations, and officer names.
Maintain your limousine identification decal
In addition to the steps above to renew your operator permit, prior to the expiration date of each limousine vehicle identification decal, the decal must be renewed annually by having the vehicle inspected and completing the Limousine Service Identification Decal Application Form.
- Complete an annual vehicle inspection.
- Complete and submit the Limousine Service Identification Decal Application Form.
- Make decal payments in a timely manner by using our online carrier portal login, postal mail, or in-person.
