The Great Minnesota Aviation Gathering

The Gathering will feature educational sessions and a variety of vendors of aviation-related products. Educational sessions will cover a broad range of topics, including owner-assisted maintenance, seaplane operations, ski plane operations, survival medicine, single pilot IFR, Minnesota aviation history, winter operations, engine management, how to promote your local airport and much more.

An Evening with Eagles

This event is being held in conjunction with AirExpo 2017, and is a rare opportunity to meet and dine with several of America’s true Aviation Heroes, hear them speak about their experiences, and shake their hands. Dinner is included. Our main speaker will be NASA Astronaut Franklin “Story” Musgrave. Story flew on six spaceflights during his 30 years with NASA. Other VIPs scheduled to attend include aces from World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, 8th Air Force crew members, and World War II Naval aviators. Also invited are members of the Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Association, River Rats, who flew missions over North Vietnam, and prisoners of war from World War II and Vietnam.
