Each racing team consists of 2-4 pilots, crossing over 2600 miles from Sweetwater, Texas to Fryeburg, Maine. As many as 50-60 teams will be racing and are expected to pass through Faribault in those four days.
Spectators are welcome to come to the airport to watch the flybys, which will occur during daylight hours. Most racers can be expected between June 19-20, but slower aircraft may come through later. Exact timing depends on weather conditions between Texas and Faribault.
