Interstate Access Requests/Interstate Modification Requests letter templates
Step 36 of the IAR/IAMR process includes MnDOT recommending that FHWA approve the IAR/IAMR. This recommendation takes the form of a letter from MnDOT to FHWA Minnesota Division. Project managers prepare the letter for signature by their District Engineer and then by the State Design Engineer. The IAR Coordinator, Robert Wagner, then e-mails the signed letter and supporting documentation to FHWA. Templates for the letter are below.
