Lane closures
9 p.m. Thu, May 29 through 6 a.m. Sat, May 31; 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly
- Eastbound I-494 is reduced to one lane between Hwy 52 and Hwy 3/Robert St.
Mon, April 21 through Tue, July 22
- Northbound Hwy 52 is reduced to one lane between north of Upper 55th St. and south of Mendota Rd./Southview Blvd.
- Southbound Hwy 52 is reduced to two lanes between Mendota Rd./Southview Blvd. and Upper 55th St.
Ramp closures
5 a.m. Mon, May 19 through Tue, July 22
- The following ramps are closed:
- Westbound I-494 to southbound Hwy 52
- Southbound Hwy 52 to eastbound I-494

About this project
We will be redecking and repainting the Hwy 52 bridges over I-494 in 2025 to extend the lifespan of the bridges. This work is happening now to take advantage of IIJA funding made available to the State.
