What is an quadrant interchange?
A quadrant interchange is a type of interchange which provides a smaller footprint than a traditional folded diamond or partial cloverleaf. It provides grade-separated through-movement crossing between mainline and the minor roadway. Access to the minor road is provided through a quadrant roadway which intersects the minor roadway through a T-intersection.
