Houston to Caledonia
In 2028, MnDOT will resurface Highway 76 from Highway 44 to Highway 16 near Houston. Other work includes replacing culverts, guardrail, and minor bridge improvements. The project will provide a smoother road surface and extend the pavement life. It will also improve safety and drainage infrastructure.
We are also planning to construct a roundabout at the intersection of Highway 44 and Highway 76 in Caledonia. Learn more about the project on the project website.
We are planning to MnDOT will resurface Highway 44 from Spring Grove to near Hokah, a nearly 22-mile corridor. At this early stage, the project team is gathering information about the highway. This will help us understand and prioritize what improvements are needed before moving into detailed design and construction in later phases.
