Maintain your STS Certificate of Compliance
As set forth in Minnesota law, Special Transportation Services, Chapter 8840, to maintain your STS Certificate of Compliance, you must:
- Maintain current insurance.
- Complete an annual vehicle inspection.
- Make decal payments in a timely manner by using our online portal, postal mail, or in-person.
- Complete an annual evaluation (audit) of business records.
- Complete the annual STS Certificate of Compliance Renewal Packet (PDF).
- Annual renewal requirements can be found on the The Office of The Revisor of Statutes website.
- Maintain driver and attendant training according to required timeline.

- Update driver, non-driver, and vehicle documents within 10 days of any change.
- Update Business Information Change Form with any changes to business email, address, phone, name of person responsible for daily operations, and officer names within 10 days of any change.
