Construction Zone Safety Inspection

Description: This course provides training in the management of traffic control plans and the inspection of construction zone safety devices. Participants receive instruction in traffic control plan review, inspection of traffic control procedures and safety devices, and the resolution of discrepancies from the traffic control plan, as well as on deficiencies in safety hardware maintenance. This class is sponsored by MnDOT, Office of Construction and Innovative Contracting and the Office of Traffic, Safety, and Technology. It is taught by the National Highway Institute. Audience: MnDOT, City, County, Contractor, and Consultant Personnel involved in the management of traffic control plans and the inspection of construction zone safety devices.
