About this project
Fifteen miles of eastbound I-90 between Sherburn and Fairmont will be resurfaced in 2022.
Summary of work
- Resurface traffic lanes, shoulders, and ramps
- Update guardrail
- Improve drainage by cleaning, repairing, or replacing pipes and culverts
- Update lighting at Hwy 4 and Hwy 15 interchanges
Traffic impacts
- No detour is required; traffic will be reduced to single lane in the eastbound lanes during construction
- Approximately one-week ramp closures will be required at Hwy 263 and CR 39 (eastbound on and off ramps only)
- Timing yet to be determined, as it's dependent on contractor schedule and weather
- Ramp closure signing will be placed in advance of closures
