About this project

Over 20 miles of Hwy 71 in Jackson and Cottonwood Counties will be under construction in 2020 to improve the pavement condition. The pavement work in Jackson County is extensive in that MnDOT will recycle and repave the pavement for a longer lasting fix. It also includes the replacement of a large culvert. Resurfacing in Cottonwood County is also needed and will be completed by milling and overlay the current pavement.
