About this project
The crash rate at the intersection of Hwy 22 and Augusta Dr. is more than three times higher than the statewide average. Additionally, development in the area has brought more traffic, which has contributed to the increase in crashes.

To improve safety at the intersection, a two-lane roundabout will be constructed in 2024.
Summary of work
- Construct a two-lane roundabout at the intersection of Hwy 22 and Augusta Dr.
- Construct new trail segments north of Augusta Dr. and west of Hwy 22
- Realign existing trails and improve Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations
