Description: This two day Roadway Lighting Design Course is designed to enable the participants to obtain an understanding of the fundamental concepts and MnDOT standard practices related to the design of roadway lighting systems within the State of Minnesota. Participants will develop a roadway lighting design plan from the preliminary stage to letting point. Participants will receive a comprehensive MnDOT Roadway Lighting Design Manual that outlines the process and will serve as a stand-alone lighting design reference.
Audience: state, county, city, consultant and power company personnel who will be involved with roadway lighting.
