We are pleased to announce that Mattia Zammarchi has accepted the position of Assistant Projects Engineer. In this role, he will support our operations unit, assisting in the Turnback Program and pavement management for State Aid.
Mattia Zammarchi brings nearly 10 years of experience in civil engineering and research, with a background spanning both public and private sector work in transportation and infrastructure. During his seven years at American Engineering Testing, he led pavement evaluation projects for cities, counties, and state agencies—work involving data analysis, pavement management, and close collaboration with local governments. Mattia holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Brescia in Italy, and a master’s in Geo-Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, night sky photography, rock hounding, and spending time up north with his wife and their three sons.
