Temporary traffic control electronic equipment
Automated Flagging Assistance Devices (AFADs)
The products listed on the MnDOT’s APL for the Automated Flagging Assistance Device (AFAD) can be configured to meet the requirements discussed in the “Product Requirements” section of the Automated Flagging Assistance Device (AFAD) Requirements (PDF) document. However, many of the products evaluated offer various options, add-ons, etc., which may or may not meet MnDOT’s criteria. In order to ensure the product ordered meets MnDOT’s requirements, please request (when ordering) that the product meets the requirements discussed in the “Product Requirements” of the Automated Flagging Assistance Device (AFAD) Requirements (PDF) document.
