Highway 212 repair project in Dahlgren Township begins June 1

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – A Highway 212 soil settlement repair project begins at 5 a.m. Monday, June 1 in Dahlgren Township, just west of the city of Carver, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Crews will reduce the highway to one lane in both directions, between Laurie Lane and County Road 43. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained.

Eastbound Highway 212 has developed a “dip” or surface depression. To fix the issue, crews will excavate over 40 feet of soil and then rebuild a short stretch of roadway to create a smooth riding surface.

The project is scheduled for completion by mid-October 2026.

All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution and slow down in work zones where workers are present.
