Road work begins Aug. 14 on Highway 210 between Highway 29 and Hewitt
DETROIT LAKES, Minn.— On Thursday, Aug. 14, weather permitting, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will begin a project on Highway 210 between Highway 29 and Highway 71 near Hewitt to repair culverts and resurface the roadway.
Work will take place under traffic and a detour will not be required. Motorists, however, should expect to encounter daily lane closures, flagging operations and pilot car. Drivers are asked to slow down in the work zone, obey traffic control, and be alert for workers and equipment.
The project is expected to be complete in mid-October. Construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
