We are constructing a roundabout at the southbound Hwy 52 ramp to Co. Rd. 26/70th St. in Inver Grove Heights in July through October 2027. This project will improve safety and traffic flow by removing left turns and making it easier for drivers to move through the area from the off-ramp. We will also add a pedestrian/bike path on the north side of Co. Rd. 26/70th St.

  • Construct a new single-lane roundabout at the southbound Hwy 52 ramp and Co. Rd. 26/70th St.
  • Resurface Co. Rd. 26/70th St. bridge over Hwy 52
  • Improve accessibility along pedestrian/bike trail (ADA)

Information about upcoming traffic impacts will be provided as details become available. Motorists can expect road, bridge, lane, ramp and trail closures with detours during construction. Southbound Hwy 52 ramps and Co. Rd. 26/70th St. bridge over Hwy 52 will be closed during construction with a signed detour. Pedestrians and bicyclists can expect a trail closure and detour for the northbound/southbound trail that runs parallel to Hwy 52.
