Highway 7 and Highway 29 Resurfacing

Project overview

MnDOT will be resurfacing Highways 7 and 29 in Montevideo to improve pavement quality and extend the life of the roadway. The project also includes Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) updates along the corridor and at the intersection of Highway 29 and Ashmore Avenue to improve pedestrian access throughout the community.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic will remain open during most of the construction on the corridor. Lane shifts, flagging operations, and/or pilot cars will be implemented to keep vehicles moving. More detailed traffic information will be shared as the project approaches construction.
