Project summary
In 2028, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will resurface Highway 59 from 5th Street South in Pelican Rapids to Interstate 94 near Fergus Falls.
Project elements
- Resurface (mill and overlay) from Pelican Rapids to I-94
- Replace centerline culverts and entrance pipes in poor condition between Pelican Rapids and I-94
- Replace bridge at Pelican River north of Erhard
- Repair bridge over I-94 (approach panels, guardrail, etc.)
- Construct new sidewalks in the cities of Pelican Rapids and Erhard
