2025 project complete
MnDOT resurfaced and updated 19 miles of Hwy 238 from north of Morrison Co. Rd. 19 in Upsala to Hwy 27 west of Little Falls, Morrison County in 2025. MnDOT thanks the public for their patience as we improved the roadway.
Summary of work
- Pave 19 miles of asphalt road surface
- Realign to a T intersection, installed a flashing stop sign, and added a turn lane at Co. Rd 228 in north Upsala
- Northbound Hwy 238 must stop at the T intersection
- Replace or repair 14 underground drainage structures
- Update safety guardrail
- Install new mumble strips and permanent road markings
- Update pedestrian crossing in Elmdale
- Make other necessary repairs
