About this project
Summary of work
This project will replace the box culvert along Highway 61 at the unnamed creek in Lutsen near Railroad Drive. Construction activities will extend inland beyond the culvert area and will require a temporary traffic bypass while maintaining access to nearby businesses. We are also coordinating this project with the adjacent DNR trail project.
We are in ongoing communication with affected businesses and are planning a public meeting for late 2026 or early 2027.
