Section 4(f) prepared statements
If the project has a Section 4(f) use, further analysis and documentation will be required. Consult with OES and see the Section 4(f) Process and other materials in the Guidance section below.
If there are no Section 4(f) properties in the vicinity of the project, no further analysis is required. Fully document your findings using the Section 4(f) Applicability Checklist and retain in the project file.
Use the following statement if there are no Section 4(f) properties in, or nearby, the project area or if there are Section 4(f) properties, however there is not a Section 4(f) use:
This project has been reviewed to determine if Section 4(f) applies. Based on this review a determination has been made that the project would not result in the use of Section 4(f) property, including a constructive use.
