Circulation/processing
Preparation of document
The draft ROD is prepared through consultations between the District, OES, and FHWA. These consultations should begin while the draft FEIS is being reviewed.
FHWA Division Office approval
Register. All substantive comments received on the FEIS should be identified and given appropriate responses. Other comments should be summarized and responses provided where appropriate. The ROD cannot be issued for at least 30 days following the notice in the Federal Register. FHWA Division Office approves the ROD and sends a signed copy to Mn/DOT.
Distribution
There is no formal distribution of the ROD. A Notice of Approval and Availability of the ROD is published in the Federal Register.
Notification
There is no formal notification required for the ROD.
