Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility prepared statements

When the project has no element that requires accessibility, use the following note:

The project does not involve any program, activity, or service that requires accessibility.

When the project includes a pedestrian facilities and has meet the pavement alterations threshold, use the following note:

This project includes pedestrian features including: curb ramps, sidewalks, and/or APS.  All plans and details related to these facilities will follow MnDOT Standards for accessible pedestrian facilities.

When the project includes a building and has meet the alterations threshold this situation, use the following note:

This project includes permanent buildings and/or transit shelters.  All plans and details related to these facilities will be processed with the State Building Code for compliance to Minnesota Rules, Chapter 1341.

Where the project impacts the accessibility of a program, activity, or service, use the following note:

This project requires providing accessibility to a program, activity, or service and by law the project must comply with provisions set by the ADA of 1990 or by state or local access codes if they contain more stringent requirements.
