The Project Design Services Unit ensures that all design-bid-build and emergency project plans are complete, biddable, and consistent with legal requirements and quality standards.

What to expect from the unit
- Review construction plans to make sure they are complete, biddable, and meet the requirements of federal and state statutes, rules, technical memorandums, specifications, AASHTOWare, and state design standards, details, and policies
- Participate in new design standard, policy, and procedure development and implementation
- Provide feedback, education, and information to support continuous improvement of construction plans
