Function
A consultant is an individual or organization that performs professional and/or technical services for the state. Although the terms "consultant" and "contractor" are often used interchangeably, in this case, consultants are the ones we engage to perform certain activities before letting. If you need to hire a consultant to perform all or a portion of a project, you will need to work with the Consultant Services Section to secure a contract.
