MnDOT hosts Jan. 27 public meeting for Hwy 13 project in Savage and Burnsville
ROSEVILLE, Minn. —The Minnesota Department of Transportation will host a Jan. 27 in-person public meeting to discuss recent updates to the Hwy 13 improvement project in Savage and Burnsville. Construction on the Hwy 13 and Nicollet Avenue interchange is tentatively scheduled to begin in 2027.
The meeting is 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27 at the McColl Pond Environmental Learning Center, 13550 Dakota Ave. S. in Savage. A short presentation is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. MnDOT, along with city and county staff, will be available to offer information and answer questions about the project.

If you can’t attend the in-person meeting, a virtual presentation will be posted on the project webpage following the meeting.
As part of the project, MnDOT, in partnership with the cities of Savage and Burnsville, and Scott and Dakota counties, will reconstruct Hwy 13 between Quentin Avenue in Savage and Nicollet Avenue in Burnsville. The work will also include these intersections: Quentin Avenue, Lynn Avenue, Chowen Avenue, Washburn Avenue and Nicollet Avenue.
