Improve access
MnDOT will improve access and safety at the intersection of Hwy 71 and Hwy 210 with a new roundabout. The project is currently in the design phase and is scheduled for construction in 2030.
Public survey results
MnDOT received nearly 400 responses from the online survey that ended Feb. 13, 2024.
The top issues:
- Poor sightlines
- Unsafe crossing conditions by foot or bicycle
- Poor lighting
- Delayed turning
- Slippery conditions and visibility

- Install a roundabout at the Hwy 71 and Hwy 210 intersection
- Upgrade pedestrian sidewalks and approaches
- Replace guardrail to bridges
