Southbound Highway 51/Snelling Avenue/Hamline Avenue weekend closure in Arden Hills, Roseville planned for September 25-28

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Southbound Highway 51/Snelling Ave./Hamline Ave. will close this weekend for resurfacing in Arden Hills and Roseville.

Beginning at 9 p.m. Fri, Sept. 25, we will close southbound Snelling Ave. between I-694 in Arden Hills and Highway 36 in Roseville through 5 a.m. Mon, Sept 28.
During the work, cross streets will be closed while crews are working nearby. There will be short-term closures of the ramp and loop from southbound Snelling Ave. to eastbound and westbound Highway 36 during the weekend.

During the work, motorists should follow the signed detours on eastbound I-694, southbound I-35E and westbound Highway 36 or use alternate routes to avoid congestion and delays.

The northbound lanes of Snelling Ave. were resurfaced in late May. Work on the highway is expected to be completed by mid-October.
Plan ahead by checking 511, and give yourself additional time to reach your destination.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather and schedule permitting and subject to change.
