Nighttime work scheduled Aug. 25-28 at Highway 29 roundabout south of Alexandria for resurfacing
DETROIT LAKES, Minn.—Motorists traveling on Highway 29 south of Alexandria can expect short delays overnight for three nights, beginning Aug. 25, as crews resurface the roundabout at the intersection of Highway 29 and County Roads 28/87, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night, weather permitting, traffic will encounter lane closures and flagging operations. No detour is planned. Drivers should expect to be stopped for up to 10 minutes, and are reminded to drive slowly and watch for construction crews.
The work is being performed at night to minimize impacts, and is expected to be complete by the morning of Aug. 28.
