Hwy 61 Little Marais to Tofte update public meeting Aug. 20
DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is inviting the public to attend a meeting on Thursday, Aug. 20 at the Schroeder Town Hall (124 Cramer Rd, Schroeder, MN 55613) to hear the latest about future work on Highway 61 between Little Marais and Tofte. Project staff will talk about the 2027 planned construction work and provide an update on the study looking at future long-term improvements to the corridor.
MnDOT will host the event at 5 p.m., and the project team will be available to hear feedback and answer questions. The study will create a common vision and guidance for improving safety and efficiency for all users of the corridor and inform construction work in the future. Information presented at the meeting will be posted on the project websites afterwards.
