Weekend closure of southbound Interstate 35E ramps to and from Highway 77 in Eagan, Apple Valley July 31 through August 3
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Crews will close the southbound Interstate 35E ramps to and from Highway 77 in Eagan and Apple Valley, 9 a.m. Friday, July 31 to 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Motorists should follow the signed detours:
- Southbound Interstate 35E motorists traveling to Highway 77 can use the County Road 11/140th Street interchange to northbound Interstate 35E to Highway 77 as a detour .
- Northbound Highway 77 motorists traveling to southbound Interstate 35E can use eastbound Interstate 494 to southbound Interstate 35E as a detour .
- Southbound Highway 77 motorists traveling from southbound Highway 77 to southbound Interstate 35E can use Palomino Drive to northbound Interstate 35E to eastbound Interstate 494 to southbound Interstate 35E as a detour .
These closures are needed to complete ramp repairs as part of the Highway 77/Cedar Avenue construction project.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather and schedule permitting and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, and slow down in work zones where workers are present.
