Weekend closure of southbound Highway 77 in Bloomington, Eagan July 24-27
ROSEVILLE, Minn. –Crews will close southbound Highway 77 between Killebrew Drive in Bloomington and Diffley Road in Eagan, and all ramps in the area, from 11 p.m. Friday, July 24 through 5 a.m. Monday, July 27, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Motorists traveling southbound on Highway 77 can use eastbound Interstate 494 to southbound Interstate 35E to southbound Highway 77 as a detour.
Motorists traveling on Highway 13 can use Diffley Road to southbound Highway 77 as a detour.
Ahead of the closure, from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. July 24, southbound Highway 77 will be reduced to two lanes between the Minnesota River Bridge and Diffley Road. Crews will also close the southbound Highway 77 ramps to/from northbound and southbound Highway 13.
These closures are needed for pavement work as part of the Highway 77/Cedar Avenue construction project.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather and schedule permitting and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, and slow down in work zones where workers are present.
