Weekend closure of northbound I-35E ramps to and from Hwy 77 in Eagan, Apple Valley July 17-20
ROSEVILLE, Minn. –Crews will close the northbound Interstate 35E ramps to and from Highway 77 in Eagan and Apple Valley, 9 p.m. Friday, July 17 to 5 a.m. Monday, July 20, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Motorists should follow the signed detours:
- Northbound Interstate 35E motorists traveling to Highway 77 can use the Cliff Rd. interchange to southbound Interstate 35E to Highway 77 as a detour.
- Highway 77 motorists traveling to northbound Interstate 35E can use Hwy 77 to Interstate 494 to Interstate 35E as a detour.
Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, July 20, through late August the McAndrews Road ramps to and from Highway 77 will close. Motorists should use local alternate routes.
The trail running parallel to westbound McAndrews Road between Pennock Avenue and Galaxie Avenue will also close at that time. Trail users can detour to Pennock Ave to Palomino Drive/127th Street West to Galaxie Avenue.
These closures are needed to complete ramp repairs as part of the Highway 77/Cedar Avenue construction project.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather and schedule permitting and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, and slow down in work zones where workers are present.
