Hwy 135 Biwabik resurfacing postponed to spring 2024

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation has postponed resurfacing repair work on Highway 135 in Biwabik until spring 2024. MnDOT continues to monitor pavement settlement and conditions along this stretch of highway, but the agency was unable to complete the necessary work this construction season. This resurfacing work will repair unforeseen settlement that occurred during spring thaws following construction.
