cloudLibrary E-book Circulation Policy

Updated November 2022

Who can borrow?

All MnDOT Library users with a valid MnDOT library card ID.

Other individuals should contact their local public, academic, or corporate library for access to e-books.

Loan Limits

You may borrow 2 e-books at a time.  All e-books and e-audio books in the MnDOT Library cloudLibrary collection can be borrowed for 28 days. After 28 days, books are automatically returned by the system.

Hold Requests

You may place a hold on a book that is currently in use and choose how the system will notify you when it becomes available.  There is a limit of two holds at one time. When an item is returned and available for you, the cloudLibrary app will provide a notification.

All materials checked out are subject to recall after the initial, 28-day loan period. Recalled items are due immediately after the due date. Recall notice, emails or telephone calls will notify the borrower that an item has been recalled.

MnDOT Library ID

All MnDOT library users are assigned a MnDOT Library ID by the library.  If you need to know what yours is or want to get a MnDOT library ID, please contact the library at Ask a Librarian.

These policies may change without notice.
