About this 2025 project
Bridge open, work complete
MnDOT resurfaced and updated the Hwy 55 bridge that spans the Clearwater River east of Kimball.
- Detour lifted Aug. 14. MnDOT thanks the public for their patience during this project.
Summary of work
- Replace the concrete wearing coarse on the bridge deck
- Resurface bridge approaches and make other needed repairs
- Upgrade bridge railing and steel barrier approaches
